The clip has more than 5 million views as of Wednesday.  Mexico City Metro, the agency which operates the rapid transit system, initially released a statement repudiating the incident and identifying the three individuals as actors.  However, Secretariat of Citizen Security of Mexico City, which oversees the police, confirmed López’s identity Tuesday after reviewing the footage. ‘The General Directorate of Internal Affairs of this Secretariat learned that a man who appears in a video broadcast on social networks in sexual acts within the facilities of the Metro Collective Transportation System is active personnel of this Institution,’ the Secretariat of Citizen Security of Mexico City said in a statement.
